Today, with the help of West Harris of Plumberstock.com we are going to show you how to install a Moen 90 degree classic stainless one handle high arc pullout kitchen faucet. It features a pullout faucet and quick connect fittings for easy installation and the Lifeshine finish is guaranteed not to tarnish, corrode or flake.
Inside the box we’ll find the instructions for installation, the faucet itself and the various water line connectors and adapters necessary for installation. You’ll also find the specialized tool needed to tighten the faucet into place.

If you are performing a new installation you will have one of two options. If you have a sink that is installed above your countertop, you will likely already have the holes in place needed to install your faucet. If you have a sink installed below your countertop, like we do, you will need to first drill a hole for your faucet into your existing countertop. If you’re installing the faucet as a replacement for an older faucet then you can simply use the hole from your old faucet.

Once our new hole is drilled, it is now time to attach our faucet extension. When placing the faucet extension, be sure to remove the small green plug from the connector before attaching it. Run the faucet extension hose through the top of your Moen faucet and down through the body. Once in place you can then put your faucet into position by threading the various hoses of the faucet through the hole that we have already dwell.

Now it is time to get under the sink and install our mounting bracket. This mounting bracket will be threaded up the hoses of the faucet and secured into place with a mounting nut. We can then use the specialized wrench that was included with our faucet to secure the mounting nut into place.

After attaching our mounting bracket it we can now begin connecting our hot and cold water lines. The water lines on your Moen faucet have a simple snap in connector that is easy to install. Once again, be sure to remove the white protective cap on the end of your Moen faucet’s water supply line before connecting the water supply line.

Now that the hot and cold water lines are attached we can now attach our faucet extension hose. Make sure that before you connect your faucet’s extension hose that you first insert the weight onto your faucet supply line. This weight will allow your faucet extension to easily retract after using it.

You are now ready to test your new faucet. Begin by opening up your hot and cold water lines all the way. It is common for these valves to leak a little bit as they open, but they should not leak once they are opened completely. Carefully examine all of your connectors under your sink and look for any water that may be leaking through. If no leaks are present, congratulations, you have just successfully installed your new Moen faucet!
