Follow along with our step-by-step video guide to install the Studio S Kitchen Faucet by American Standard. This modern kitchen faucet features presence and performance with a contemporary cylindrical profile.
Required Tools: Flat Bed Screwdriver, Phillips Head Screwdriver, Adjustable Wrench, and Plumbers’ Putty or Caulking.
STEP 1: Be sure to first turn off the water supply. Make sure the seal is properly seated in the recess of the spout base. Insert all hoses and shank thorugh the mounting ring and mounting surface. Do not use putty.
STEP 2: Feed hoses through the rubber washer, brass washer, and threaded locknut onto the shank from underside the sink or mounting surface. Hand tighten the locknut. Use a screwdriver to tighten screws on the locknut. Work your way around the locknut tightening the screws slightly each time until all are snug to ensure even pressure.
STEP 3: Connect the flexible supply hoses directly to the wall supplies. Connect the left supply hose to the hot wall supply, and the right supply hose to the cold wall supply. Use an adjustable wrench to tighten the connections, being careful not to overtighten.
STEP 4: Push the spray hose end into the hose connector and slide down the locking collar until it snaps into place. With the hand spray seated in the spout, install the weight, and secure in place with screw.
Turn the water supply back on, and your kitchen faucet is now ready to use and enjoy.
