Detail step-by-step instruction on How To Remove Old Faucet and Install Pull Out Kitchen Faucet / Tap and Soap Dispenser.

Step 1:
Prepare the tools needed for the installation.
Pliers/Wrench, Plumbers Putty (if needed), Work Light, Screw Driver, Drill (if required to make holes).

Remove Old Faucet:

Step 1:
Turn off the hot and cold water supply. The valves are typically under the sink. If not, turn off the water at the main valve typically located in the basement.
Then turn on the faucet to relieve any water pressure left in the pipes.

Step 2:
Unscrew the nuts from hot and cold water supply lines and disconnect the supply lines from the faucet.

Step 3:
Remove the nuts from under the faucet. Pull out the old faucet from top of the counter.

Install New Faucet:

Step 1:
Follow the manufacturer’s directions for specific installation instructions. Installations begin with installing the gasket on the bottom of the faucet.
With multiple existing sink holes use deck plate and gasket. Some installation require sealant or plumber’s putty.

Step 2:
Then put the faucet through the mounting holes in the sink and tighten the mounting nut.

If the kitchen counter is less than 1/2 inch then you will need additional bracket under the sink to attach the faucet.

Step 3:
Underneath, tighten the nut and hose guide protecting nut at the end of the shank.

Step 4:
Reconnect the respective hot and cold supply lines to the shutoff valve. Use a wrench to tighten.

Step 5:
Insert the pull down hose through the front of faucet spout hole and push down.

Step 6:
Lock the pull down hose to the outlet hose. There will be a click sound. Tug downward to test the engagement.

Step 7:
Install the hose weight onto the pull down hose. Make sure there is 8X8 inch space so that the weight can move freely for pull out faucet.

Step 9:
Turn on main water supply.

Step 10:
Turn on the hot and cold water for about a minute. This gets rid of debris or sediment in the faucet. Check all the connections for leaks and re-tighten if necessary.

Step 8:
Attache the Spray Wand / Faucet Head to the pipe and tighten with the wrench. Do not over tighten.

Step 11:
Check hot cold water flow and any leakage. You faucet is now installed.

Install Soap Dispenser:

Step 1:
If you already have a hole then proceed to step 2.
If you don’t then measure the diameter the soap dispenser insert. If it’s 1 inch in diameter then user 1.25 inch drill bit to make the hole.

Step 2:
Insert the soap dispenser base through the gasket and into the sink hole.

Step 3:
Thread mounting nut on to soap dispenser base

Step 4:
Thread bottel onto the soap dispenser base. Tighten by hand.

Step 5:
Fill the soap from the top into the container.

Step 6:
Assemble straw in the soap pump and insert the soap dispenser pump into the soap dispenser base. Test by pressing onto the pump. Installation is now complete.
