Did you ever turn on the hot water heater in the kitchen sink and it runs lukewarm for about 30 seconds? It’s because the water heater is located on the other side of the house. Studies show there’s about two and a half gallons of water in the line that has to be pushed out before you ever get hot water. And that is a big waste. But by installing an under the sink hot water heater, you can save water and still get hot water on demand.
