Review: Beal MeasureFill Touch Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet

The ability to pre-select a measurement and know it is going to give the accurate amount is time-saving and never ceases to amaze our company. You can also use the touch-on located on the MeasureFill dial for continuous flow.
The faucet is pretty snazzy in general. The touch-on and off on the MeasureFill dial is awesome. We use it all the time. The arm of the faucet moves with ease and the normal water controller is tight enough that you don’t have to fudge for the perfect temperature. The spray nozzle is a direct stream even with the powerful sprayer on; which provides precise direction when using the pull-down. It also reduces spraying outside the sink and your clothes. As for the retractable hose it works pretty well. We have to guide it a little more to get it in the right position than is shown on the manufacturer’s video, but hardly an issue.
Something to note from a functionality perspective is that using the touch-on feature only gives you cold water. In order to get a different temperature you need to use the traditional controller. If you switch from the touch-on to the traditional controller the touch-on automatically goes off and there is a brief stutter in the water to let you know. Installation was about what you would expect for changing from a standard faucet to a modern one with fancy technology – it is not a quick job. There are several wires and tubes, but not too hard to figure out. The most complicated issue for us was placement of the operation box. We highly recommend measuring the length of cord provided and then figuring out how much room you have to hang the box. The instructions can be misleading as far as the length of cord goes. Don’t assume you will be able to attach it to the side cabinet as it demonstrates. We had to use the back of the cabinet and it added a degree of difficulty working behind all the wires and tubes.
