1. Make sure the water supply is turned off to the faucet.
2. Unscrew and remove the handle lever from the top of the round faucet handle.
3. Loosen small set screw inside the hole where handle lever was removed, then pull handle off faucet. (a small 2.5mm Allen key is needed)
4. Unscrew and remove the metal handle escutcheon from the faucet. (this part can be removed by hand)
5. Unscrew and remove the brass cartridge nut from faucet. (a wrench or a pair of pliers is needed)
6. Pull out the cartridge from the faucet and replace it with new.
*** there are 2 small bevels at the bottom of the cartridge. These 2 bevels need to be aligned with the 2 holes in the faucet that are not drilled through. The cartridge is set in place when you feel the cartridge pops into place.***
7. Repeat steps 2-5 in reverse to reassemble faucet handle.
