The pressure of your cold water tap shouldn’t cause you any inconvenience. It shouldn’t be a trickle or a gushing torrent. Cold water tap should give around 9 litres per minute.
If you are having problems with your cold water pressure there are several possible explanations:
• Is it just your home or are your Welsh Water neighbours water pressure effected?
• Check the stop tap, see if it needs adjusting
• If it’s a joint water supply, other people could be using the same system
• Check to make sure your pump is working okay (If you have one)
• If it’s a trickle it could be low pressure
• Any work carried out by Welsh Water?
